Urad gnocci

Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Meanwhile, mix urad flour with enough water to make a thick, goopy dough. Add spices like thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper (pepper especially). Once water is at a rolling boil, drop dough in one gloop at a time. Boil for 20 min. Once done, strain, cut into bite sized pieces. Add marinara, chilli powder, salt, and lots of black pepper. Add a spoon full of ricotta on top (the grainy, creamy texture adds a lot to this dish) and some fresh herbs of choice on top.  Symplax original :) Excellent less-starchy version of gnocci. Great served with a light salad.
